That Starks and Jones signed both of there contracts the same day last year in fact within hours of each other??

I find that kind of odd. I wonder if the Cards did that last year as a PR move? I wonder if they might have an agreement with a FA or 2 and asked them if they would mind holding off so they could announce the signings all at once to make seem like bigger news and a bigger splash?

Just a thought?? It would be possible I guess??

That's crap. They haven't done a thing. And if they bring in Mr. Smith that will be a slap in the Cardinals fans face.

They had a chance at some bigger free agents and they just plain screwed it up. Emmitt will not save face here. How could you cheer for a man that you cheered against allthese years? Not saying Mr. Smith is a bad man, but I just can't see Emmitt as a Card.

Sorry.

Prepare to be slapped. He is coming in tomorrow night and will tour Thursday.

And if he does sign, all Cowboys stuff is dead in my mind. Even though I don't think we need him from a football standpoint, I would cheer him on if he were part of the team.

I haven't heard much news about Smith lately. Has he even gotten any interest from any teams besides the Cardinals?

If Smith signed there, they'd probably have to cut Alstott or Pittman because Alstott really isn't a fullback. That would be interesting to see Alstott run behind Lenard Davis if he got cut and the Cardinals could pick him up.

He has also gotten interest from the chiefs, because it is unclear wether priest goes back to KC next year.

The Bucs won't guarantee him a certain number of carries, or that he's even a starter. So instead of going somewhere where he can be on a superbowl contender, he'd rather go somewhere that he can pad his stats and get paid more. Is this the kind of leader we want?
