Any thoughts? Could a guy like Allen in Seattle, or Snyder, or whoever circumvent the cap by just basically giving him cash on the side in addition to his contract?

If you were a college recruit for Colorado, they gave you something else under the table

Snyder doesn't have to. He does it out in the open any team can do what he does.
After he signed with WASH Portis said about 100 NFL players called him cause they want to get to Washington and want to know all the details.
You can beat the cap Snyder does it every year. No need to go under the table at all.

Sapp a Redskin It is getting reported that Dan Snyder has opened up his wallet again and inked Sapp to a 5 year 33 mil contract.
And you were saying...????
The Salary Cap is a figment of Snyders Imagination... to him it doesn't exist. There should be an inquiry by the NFL into this matter. The playing field is not even as Tag's wants you to think it is. Parity is a joke when it comes to "THE NFL SALARY CAP!!!"
