I recently watched this. I saw pieces of it back in 1990, but I don’t think I ever watched the whole thing. This was Martin Lawrence and Rosie Perez’s first movie and Samuel L. Jackson was still relatively unknown. Great movie, it really brought me back to my high school days. The shoe-scuffing scene really made me chuckle. I remember how serious we would take our basketball shoes. It’s amazing how much has been borrowed from this movie.

This was on Showtime last night. I ended up having to watch it again. I couldn't pull myself away from it.

Still relevant today. Still excellent.
