Why not just trade Amare for Garnett straight up then? Our first round picks could be invaluable for other trade considerations involving Marion.. Just kinda thinking outloud..
My main point in this thread is that I don't see this Spurs loss as a fair barometer to where this team is. The suspension just changed it all. Before the suspension Spurs won game 1, Suns won game 2, Spurs won game 3 then the Suns won game 4. We were going back and fourth with ( I think ) the eventual NBA champions. Without the suspension, I really believe it's us against the Pistons for a world title.
