Time for baseball season.
Simple yes or no question... Do you like our new uniforms?
Simple yes or no -- like.Simple yes or no question... Do you like our new uniforms?
huh?Simple yes or no -- like.
Degree of "like" -- oops, you didn't ask.
I actually liked the purple and teal or whatever you want to call it but I must say I like the brick red better. Makes it seem more like the colors of a team that plays in the desert.Very happy to see the purple go
Yes, I like the Sedona red color scheme but, with so many teams featuring red now, I would have liked to see the D'backs come up with something more distinctive.huh?

i'm not a diamondbacks fan so I really have no attachment either way - but i think the current uniforms (and merchandise in general) is a lot more palatable
in the past, even if i were a fan, I couldn't see myself wearing anything they put out - now I see a lot of stuff I like
No.
My long answer is a combo of BC and Phxchris. I wasn't a huge fan of the trendy purple, but it's even worse to change your entire color scheme after less than a decade. I would have much prefered to scale back certain colors (the purple and teal) and emphasize different ones (the copper and black).

Astros changed from the dark blue & gold to what they have now.I totally agree. This is what teams usually do. They could have adopted the new logos, got rid of the pinstripes, dumped the teal and made purple a trim color.
I can't think of another Major league team in recent history that completely changed their entire color scheme?

Padres changed from dark blue and burnt orange or w/e to what they have now.

I'm doing a rare venturing out of the Cardinals forum...thought I would link to my own site in regards to team colors:
