He's cut out the carbs dropped 15lbs and is 8 weeks ahead of schedule. Getting in 3 rehab sessions a day.

That's a leader.

The guy is truly an inspiration. He has dedicated himself to his teammates and his team. I will be severely disappointed if the team if he isn't resigned/restructured.

at his age he is still sorely missed on that front 7. Cut Washington and extend docket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy is incredible - his off-season workouts are unreal. I am not surprised in the least to see him beat a recovery schedule.

Have you ever played the "what would you do for a million dollars?"

Well, Dock has asked himself that question ( more like, what would I do for about $5 mm) and answered: work to come back better than ever

Players over 30 coming off ACLs with a big cap number ordinarily aren't kept. Dock is trying to be the exception.

Now that's an intriguing thought. 6'3" 260. Unstoppable.

Have him play next to CC.

Early prediction--both will be here next season.

Realizing his market value has diminished based on past performance, age, and coming off of a significant knee injury, Dockett will take a pay cut and stay on for at least one more season. While he's going to be limited physically, we're starting to see how important he is on this team from a leadership standpoint.

As for D-Wash, none of the ILBs have demonstrated that he can be expendable. The pressure in the A-gap without a safety has been non-existent, and we're using a safety, not another ILB, to fill his role (Bucannon). Provided Washington has been productive during his suspension (i.e. staying in shape, successful completion of a rehabilitation program, no failed tests), I have no reason to believe he won't be here.

I get what your saying but how could they wait out another 6 game suspension he will have to go though next year due to his domestic violence charge? I just see how they can wait that long.

Unless the NFL extends the 6-game based on combining his drug issues he'll be back guaranteed. He's too good.
