Vikings fans were booing Childress and Tavaris this last game. Chicago fans booed the Bears the second to last game of the year. Not sure the Packerfans would, but they might just be too sluggish from beerbratsandcheese.

Has his past experiences taught us anything at all. Darnell is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. 90% of our dumbest penalties come via DD. I'm sure that Whiz has done his best to try to reverse that stupidity, but to no avail. Forrest Gump nailed it - "Stupid is, as stupid does". At this point in time, all I care is that he produces like he did last week.

He was just doing to us what we do to them all the time.
They've sucked, we've sucked. The whole thing has sucked. It's all plenty motivating. I don't hate him for it. He's just like us, he wants to win in front of a rocking crowd. No biggee, we just go forward louder in the stands and on the field. Booyah.

Kinda true. When the Card were up 14-3, I said "they will blow it, and be down 17-14 at halftime." My wife laughed when it came true.

Okay, I have to break my negativity ban for this one little post: EF DD!!! You know, if you said we have a great base of some of the most hard-core fans in the league, but the rest of the area is full of fair-weather fans, then fine. You know what, DD? You didn't do that. You gave us ALL a collective slap in the face, so I give you a big FU!

I am with Stout on this.

Dockett? **** Stupid and play.

Maybe he should show up more than a few times a year and play like he did this past weekend! Idiot reminds me of Stoudamire always talking but not backing it up consistantly! When the Cards field a winning team a few years in a row it would do wonders for the fan base as it stand you best shut your mouth and not piss off the loyal fans that stuck with this team the past 20 years!

I guess I can see his point but come on, not where with you on the lows? Look at the history of this franchise, that there are ANY people in the stands after all this losing is a testament to the fans being there during the lows because MOST of the time it has been the lows, the highs have been few and far between.

Does make it that much more special when we win like we did Saturday.

With a team that has been in three different cities, an owner with a history of money mizzer, and a team that has won almost nothing it is no wonder we are considered the team with the worst fans in the NFL. I might add that we almost inevitable finished each season with the lowest home attendance.

My only problem with Dockett is he had to put it out there for the world, even though it is mostly true. I may be the only Cards fan in the entire state of Arkansas. I have never met another one in the 35 years I have lived here. I begin my journey as a Card fan in 1944. If I could have changed my allegiance to another team I would have a long time ago but for real football fans life just does not work like that.

At the moment I do not care what Dockett says as long as he continues to play like he has been playing.

he probably reads these boards and sees that everyone rips him a new ass everytime the cardinals lose for "not trying". cant say i blame him.

im in seattle now but i still have tons of friends in AZ, and people that didnt give two ships about the cards 3 years ago are now all of a sudden posting pictures of themselves on their myspace with cards jerseys on or at the game. it makes me a little sick.

I could give you two examples, the baseball Cardinals and the Football Cardinals.

One has a loyal fanbase that will fill the stadium even if the team is in last place and the other has trouble selling out a playoff game.

The Cardinal baseball team though has the most WS wins of any NL team, the Cardinal Football team hasn't really sniffed the playoffs much let alone had decent years to build up a tradition.

It's about tradition DD and you guys are it, other than Jake and the whole other circus act in 98 you guys ARE the history, just play the game and the fans will come.

Double D has also said some nice things about us. However, as we continue on this road of S.B realization, so will the END of the casual fan. It won't be long. With next year's schedule, DARnell willl see it all come to fruition. No more stub hub sales, Totally RED!

You guys are a rare breed for sure. How many times has this franchise relocated and NOT succeeded? all of them? Of course they're going to have a terrible fan base, they've been selling a lousy product for decades.

I personally am not a fan of Coca-Cola. Sure it's bottled in my home state, but I think it's a crappy product. What's the difference?

Coca-Cola is delicious! I bet it was even better back when it actually had cocaine in it!

Agreed.

I boo'd like a crazy man after Warner's sack and fumble during the Seattle game. Seriously, what does a player expect. This was after 3 dreadful games of watching the team, regardless if they played hard, play very very poorly.

The fans at that point had enough. It was a collection of fans saying "We got the INT from Brown to start this game, you guys have great field position, and then take a dumb sack AND fumble the ball away? ...... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO is damn right! "

They also were boo'd after giving up a TD off of that fumble, and once again for good reason.

It seemed to work cause a few plays later I got to watch Larry defy gravity and snatch that 40 yd bomb out of the air. Lots of cheers for that play.
