Why don't they throw Kaspar out there to get killed? They obviously don't like him.

Yup. I've made a couple posts along the same lines.

He already gets killed enough running patterns from the slot, no reason to set him up for more in punt returns.

agreed

....that should be D. Anderson or Scobey....Boldin needs to be on the sideline, resting - because he is practically our whole offense....it's not like he is having Brian Westbrook-like results as a punt returner anyway.

Anquan is the man, and despite Josh impressing me with his heart - I am praying we draft Ben Roethlisberger....he will be really special.

Totally agree. Our new coach will put an end to that. You don't think he'll return them in the pro bowl do you?

Do most teams use a different player for punts and kickoffs? If so, why? Why can't Scobey do both?

He's the most sure-handed player we've got. Surrounding players don't rattle him.

He's see's the field better than anyone to pick up blocks.

He's strong as hell and can break tackles. Against Carolina, a shoestring tackle prevented him from having a 95 yarder for a TD.

I like him back there and feel he's become very comfortable. As far as resting he gets plenty of time for that while the opposition is running through our defense.
