Hope you're doing well. A lil' over-the-top?? YEAH! BUT after countless (40+ years of it) feelings of anguish, despair, frustration, disappointment....I think the sweet taste of WINNING is...PRECIOUS!!

Yeah, I remember telling people that winning in preseason is meaningless. It is nice but it doesn't really mean anything and since the coaches don't game plan for the preseason it is more a fluke than anything else.

And when the season started and we got off to a slow start I was telling people that with a new OC and DC some growing pains were going to happen and some time for adjustment should be expected. But I will admit that deep down I was worried. To many mental mistakes in preseason worried me and you would think that coaches would have figured things out by the start of the regular season. I wouldn't admit it to anyone at the time, but I was worried.

But, water under the bridge now.

The Cardinals bounced back that is for sure, but the preseason, and the first 1/4 of the season was very rocky.

This team has 10 wins, AND had a horrendous start to the season.

Much respect to the Cardinals for working very hard, and finding their stride in time to make this a great season.

I agree, the bar & expectations have been raised after last year. Only 1 team ends up happy at the end of the year!!!
