Is it just me or is their coverage getting nauseating? I mean I know I'm getting older, but I just can't stand their coverage anymore.

NFL Network and their over-opinionated analysis. I mean everyone is an expert about every team and every player but they all say the same horse crap. Their so called insiders always seem to have people stashed at every team's HQ and they always have unnamed sources who spill the beans on players and each team can never seem to figure out they are.

X player needs to play better, so and so is the hardest working or best in the league at.... This guy is a winner.... he is a beast.... they are the best. They are the worst. blah blah blah.

I haven't even watched ESPN for more than 3 minutes in probably 2 years.

I only watch nfl when a game is on....have not watched espn in years....since they started carrying poker...since when is poker a sport?? poker players are athletes now?

starting to get turned off on the nfl media as a whole...the network suxx and panders to the popular teams,...and the website is just a cash cow...hell, you have to subscribe to a pay service to even LISTEN to a game.....I will just catch what comes on tv, already paying for that by using the advertised products.

I thought poker was actually fairly intriguing when they started putting the cameras underneath the tables and you could see what cards guys were playing with -- and the thing got ratings at first -- then it got wayyyy overexposed and quickly ran its course.

Too much Ryan. Too much Tebow. Too much Manning. Too much AP. Too much Bounty stuff. Too much DUI. Not enough Cardinals (other than maybe Fitz).

I understand why - the sports channels have to drive ratings to survive financially, so they get on a few hot stories and ride those puppies early and often.

It's understandable, but that doesn't mean I gotta watch them.

The cards haven't got this much attention in years and it's only because they are talking about this stupid qb competition. They have an article of the nfl website about how Williams looked good along with a highlight video. Only problem....they didn't even show him in the video! There aren't even highlights of the entire first drive! Better believe they showed kolb getting sacked.

But the NFL network guys hardly even watch the game and still make dumb *** opinons based on perception and not fact when talking about the Cardinals. Like Balldingaloo saying that neither Cardinal QB showed much and the position was still up in the air.

It worked out pretty well when the gals wearing short skirts were playing poker.;)

I agree and with ESPN I would add to much LeBron and to much Yankees and Red Sox.

I don't know how many times I've missed a DiamondBacks game and went on ESPN to see the high lights only to switch the channel because I quickly got tired of all Yankees all Red Sox all the time.

Poker was carried on Wide World of Sports long before BSPN got a hold of it.

NFL network was great in its 1st three years. They used to have THE BEST post-Sunday show. It was nothing but highlights with a narrator you never saw, and clips of the coaches and players media conferences post-game. Best highlight show ever. Cancelled after 2 years in order to play NFL access 12 hrs a day. Too bad.

Sports shows are nothing but tabloids and drama anymore. You can't even find an in depth highlight show anymore, on any channel.

NFL network shows the minimum amount of highlights of most games, with Deion Sanders (the antagonist) saying "Do we have to show these?" while it is happening. That is crap. The NFL network should show more highlights than anyone. What ? They don't have the time? Please!!! Re-running the same show 5 times in a row? That is more important ?!?!? It is crap.

ESPN...it is worse. I haven't watched ESPN, unless the Cardinals are on, in forever.

Sucks. Drama in the news is like the almighty dollar in society. It just sucks the good out of everything.

I watch them both a LOT less than I used to. I never thought they would top the Brett Faver overcoverage, but this Tebow-Jets thing is obscene! I now change the channel as fast as I can whenever I hear the words "Tebow" or "Jets".

Several days ago I couldn't find my remote fast enough. They start breathlessly talking about how Tim Tebow threw TWO PASSES with the first team offense. They then proceeded to break down these TWO PASSES in a fricking training camp practice. What a bunch of crap! :bang:

Both channels have been ruined. Can hardly watch either one anymore. Eisen, Irvin, Deion are the worst. None of the network pregame shows are any good either, imo. It's a shame really. About the only guys I can take anymore are Marshall Faulk, Brian Baldinger, Jamie Dukes. Billick is horrible as a game announcer, but pretty decent with his analysis show.
