Almost every expert says he is the most NFL ready QB and it’s not even close. His own coach says that mentally he is ready for the NFL game day one. He can learn from #2 if Bradford goes down there is no reason at all in today’s NFL to suffer through Glennon.

And, it would be suffering to watch Glennon play. Hell, I'd rather have Gabbert and Gabbert sucks. What people see in Glennon is beyond me. He has PROVEN he is a poor QB.

Rosen takes over a few games in like they did with Deshaun Watson. Bradford is released after the season and Glennon is the backup. His cap hit is 4m in 2019. He’s the perfect backup that won’t stick is neck out to be a problem or complain about playing time.
But you’re counting on Bradford being hurt as a sure thing. I know history isn’t on his side but still....Az has some awesome healing waters, or so I’m told.

Why people think Glennon is worse than Gabbert is beyond me. He has PROVEN he's an adequate backup-level QB, unlike Gabbert, who has PROVEN the opposite. Both on atrocious teams for most of their careers.

Glennon: 22 starts, 34 TDs, 20 INTs, 83.2 passer rating
Gabbert: 45 starts, 44 TDs, 43 INTs, 71.5 passer rating

These contracts making cutting in 2018 pointless. Even in 2019 Glennon costs 3mil & Bradford 5mil in dead money.

Glennon isn't good, and I'm afraid Rosen isn't going to amount to much, hope Teflon Bradford can stay healthy

Bradford starts with hopes he can finish the season, with Glennon as the backup, and Rosen inactive. Carrying three QBs on the roster and then we're going to try and stash Chad Kanoff, the Princeton QB, to the practice squad in my opinion... heard they where high on him

Well, I know it's far from set in stone if we keep three or two QBs on the roster. The last few years the MAJORITY of teams have carried TWO with a guy on the practice squad. Which, if you get down to your 3rd QB, your season is toast anyhow.

If Glennon plays well in camp, he will probably stay. If he plays as bad as I think he will, he will be cut at that salary.

I think with Bradford as your starter and his history you almost have to carry 3. I guess my question is do the Cards want to pay the 3rd QB 4 million bucks. If he has any trade value at all at some point this year I suspect we'll consider moving him.

glennon is our future back up, i expect him being in the roster for 4-5 years

about bradford is just 1 year, plein and simple

100% agree.

There is a unrealistic expectation on this board for backup QB's.

Glennon is a good backup to have, I hope he stays here a long time, and does even 1/2 as well as Stanton did for this organization.

I agree with the above and would like to add that with Bradford as your starting QB you HAVE to get a quality back up and they cost more than your avg back up.
