Does it make anyone a little nervous how close Parker and Boris Diaw are?

I am just throwing out a different thread--I am sick as hell of reading about Dirty Bowen, etc.

I was talking to some Spurs fans over the weekend who were not aware of how close the friendship is between Boria Diaw and Tony Parker.

By now, it is pretty much common knowledge that Diaw is the best man in Tony's upcoming nuptials to Eva Longoria (if Boris was a real friend, he'd either tie up Tony on July 7th and take him out of the country on a private jet).

In a recent TV interview here in San Antonio, Parker said that he and Boris talk nearly every day and they see each other every day during the playoffs, having lunch or dinner. Apparently Tony sometimes even stays at Boris' house and Boris sometimes stays at Tony Parker's house.

Even though Parker says they don't discuss basketball during the playoffs, some fans here were a little uncomfortable with the starting point guard to be so chummy with an opponent, regardless of their past friendship.

It personally doesn't bother me--but I was just curious and wanted to throw out this topic for anyone else.

Does this bother you in the least?

Nash and Dirk have a similar relationship, long-time friends. It never seemed to affect either one in games -- if anything, they played harder.

Eva is awful.

A friend of mine with season tickets in prime seats at the AT&T Center was told by staff that Eva Longoria is the ultimate prima donna--she treats people like crap unless they are famous or have a ton of money.

This poor guy is making the biggest mistake of his life.

Hope he has a pre nup.

At first I was like what the heck?? and than my dad told me that they used to play together in France. So no it doesn't bother me. They are long time friends.
