Sources: Rams trading star CB Ramsey to Fins
The Rams have agreed to trade star cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Dolphins for a 2023 third-round pick and tight end Hunter Long, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

For 77 in draft and TE Long
No easy answer but in FA & draft WRs are short. CBs are plentiful in draft and decent in FA.

Ramsey isn’t as good as he used to be. Hop’s game was never based on speed so he’s still pretty much in his prime. No comparison.

Eh both defenders had inside leverage and may have caught kyler. He had a nice seal inside, but I’m unsure whether that’s an automatic 20.

26 for a RB is like 29 in CB years, and it's a position of less importance. Dolphins absolutely rinsed the Rams.

i thought I remember him having a bad season statistically last year
Only allowed 56 receptions on 86 targets and 4 INT's with 18 PBU's. Also had 2 sacks and made the Pro Bowl.

Such an odd trade! The Rams took on $19 million in dead money by trading him and have $45 million in dead money this season now.. They might be throwing this season away since there isn't much they can do to create more space aside from cutting Wagner and Higbee.

I'm starting to think that this is a semi-tank year and wouldn't be surprised if they have an agreement with McVay on an extension with another raise, to keep him around until they are competitive again.

hate the guy but he did help them win a SB so I would argue they got the value they wanted in the original trade to get him. CB's age out of stardom younger than WR's it seems so not a huge surprise his value has fallen
