Suns are my Kryptonite!
That's how you sell AD on the move. AD waived his trade kicker so Mavs could be under one of the aprons.you don't see them playing ad as a power forward? i think that's why they got him

i thought beal and lebum were the only one's with no trade clausesThat's how you sell AD on the move. AD waived his trade kicker so Mavs could be under one of the aprons.
He gets traded, but to make your new acquisition feel good with the trade, you try and accommodate their wants/wishes. You want them happy so they will play well. Plus it's probably the best move for Dallas to pair them up on the floor at the same time. There will be times they go "small" and have only AD on the court. Plus, having a center keeps AD from being banged up as much.i thought beal and lebum were the only one's with no trade clauses
that's just meanYikes.

They could have the most assets in the league if they opened up the bidding. The Mavs still have more assets than us.

Cleveland was only 3 made shots away from having 100 at halftime.
Thanks for posting. I guess from a logic standpoint, it makes sense if the Mavs looked around and figured AD is THE guy they want. Still, why only 1 first round pick. Seems like they could have been more forceful with LA especially with the gap in ages between the players. At least a pick swap on one of the firsts.Report: NBA Teams Question Mavs Not Shopping Luka for More Value Before Lakers Trade
NBA executives are reportedly questioning why Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison didn't shop Luka Dončić around the league before sending him to…bleacherreport.com
It doesn’t make any sense to me. But there’s only one explanation. Dumont and Harrison decided that they did not want to re-sign doncic to a long term deal. That was the first domino to fall. From there they inquired about the player that they wanted to get in return. that came with a price of losing out on multiple first round picks. Thanks for posting.
