They are at full strength and have been playing good football the past few weeks. This is a dangerous team and I believe they beat Green Bay by 14+ points.

I actually wish Seattle wound up 5th seed because I think they lose on the road to Washington...

Next week will be:

Well almost everyone around here seems to think they will beat the Packers. I'm not so sure.

the 9 and 7 redskins? The ones that had more points scored against them than they scored themselves this year? nahhh.

That same thing could have been said about the 2008 Cardinals...9-7, negative point differential, weak division, #4 seed.

Big difference is that Cardinal team had some veteran leadership and a QB with playoff experience and success.

It's the playoffs and they're playing at home. I wouldn't count them out. I'm not sure they're healthy though, since they just signed Cary Williams (cut by the Seahawks mid season, after signing him as a FA) after some of their DB's went down.

They have a great TE and D. Jackson as weapons. Their D has been decent but not consistent. They very well may beat the Packers because the Packers have been stinking it up lately but we will trounce them at UOP.

Absolutely not.

Washington is in the playoffs because they earned being in the playoffs. Cousins wasn't even the starter in the offseason, so I think people forget that in the beginning of the season this team was late getting organized. Not to mention the offensive line is completely different from the beginning of the year. And lastly, lets not forget DeShaun Jackson is an absolute Cardinal Killer.

This is the playoffs, no one is to be taken lightly.

I seriously doubt that any playoff team is sleeping on any opponent... one and done has a way of helping one's focus :)

Probably not in hindsight but that team was given almost no chance. There was huge concern over whether or not the playoff game against the Falcons would even sell out because nobody was giving them a chance to win. Then Carolina was almost viewing their game as a bye when we went rolling in there. Washington is at least favored in their first playoff game.

I agree. The 2008 Cards had a future hall of fame QB and WR. Had another all pro WR as well as a 3rd very good WR in Breaston. Then add to that a very opportunistic defense and you have recipe for a deep playoff run.

national perception was about the same but the talent level was vastly better on the AZ team.

They haven't even beaten a team with a winning record this year. They played in the worst division of the NFC. The Cards will be double digit favorites against them.

Whatever happened to Breaston? Last time I remember seeing him when he was playing for the Chiefs

Agreed. They played three teams with winning records and got trounced in each of those games.

Season-wise you can. Schedules were pretty similar. We really didn't beat anyone of substance either, however, we were in some games against better teams. The Deadskins however didn't beat anyone with a .500 record let alone with a better than .500 record and the closest they came to beating a playoff contender was the Falcons who beat them by 6. They benefited from playing in a division no one wanted to win. I think the Packers throttle them.

Was in the Saints camp in 2013 but got cut. Hasn't seen another team since.
