Kid showed some burst and power today. If he can bring that kind of effort every week, he could really help this D.

The good on Moch is that he not only has a speed rush but can set his man up and then bull rush!!!!!

I was disappointed that Leonard got behind him for the first down as he is suppose to have blazing speed.

The fact that he just came up from our PS makes his sack even sweeter. When is the last time, or ever, this has happened for the Cards?

Further proof that moneyball will be in the NFL, specialists at a cheap price used correctly can really make a difference in the game and the cap.

I watched him closely on every snap (the few that they were) he was in there.

All of his pressures/sack came from free shots, basically. No one blocking him or at least just trying to nudge him.

I saw him get washed out by the G and T several times. Once hes locked up, he spins his body without using any hand work and then he stalls.

Hes no pass rusher of the future, but he did good with his opportunities.

Not what I saw. Showed strength and speed and considering it was his first game of the year I was more than impressed.

I didn't focus in on his play but the sack he got he DID beat the OT. This is just one instance but negates the premise of your entire post.

"Mock" around the clock...

er, "block."

Gotta' luv' bad puns! :D But, seriously, "speed" disrupts everything. Don't care if he runs past the play. IF he gets penetration he's causing disruption of some kind.

Mark in SC :)

It's MOAK (as in roke around the cloak).

I don't have the video, but what I recall seeing was Moch making an inside move followed by a diagonal route to the QB. It was more of a power move than a speed move and described as a "bull rush", but there wasn't all that much in the way of enemy combatants needing to be moved out of the way. Best thing about it was that there was no wasted motion - he just made a bee-line for the QB, got there quickly, got him moving backward and dropped him just short of the goal line.

Sweet!
