I just don't get the hatred for Doucet when Skelton was so much worse. Yes it was a crucial play and he fell down but that's just a slip, he didn't drop the ball or clearly choke, he fell down.

Skelton threw 3 picks and had at least 2 more dropped. He had the crucial fumble that essentially cost us going to OT because we had to kick the FG. He wasted valuable time on that one drive by underthrowing an open Roberts and an open Fitz. He put us in a huge hole in this game.

If you want to fixate on one guy for this game I don't get picking Doucet when Skelton was such an obvious goat?

I can this with the bad throws, but that fumbled exchange at the 1 was pathetic. Just awful.

Agree with Skelton being far more to blame than Doucet. That was 3 full quarters of horrible play from Skelton.

The majority of NFL games come down to plays like the Doucet Christmas trip. Not an excuse that anyone else sucked earlier.

I agree with Jeff, let Doucet go be unlucky on some other team. He never has displayed any special talent other than getting to the training room. Talk about a guy who will be easily replaced and won't be missed.

I agree. I have more memories of dropped passes & missed opportunites with Early than anything else. There's a trend with this guy.

That was on Sedlein. He was trying to block at the same time as giving up the ball. Didn't workout well

Not according to Skelton, he's blaming Colledge said his arm was hit by Colledge when he pulled to block. It was supposed to be an inside handoff to sherman.

If the offense has shown up to the game in the first three quarters it wouldn't have mattered.

Why? The defense didn't show up early either.

This. No need to bring Doucet back.
