the reason is more specific:
i beleive the Cardinals being in first place more than five weeks into the season is one of the signs of the coming apocolypse.
As you know, apocolypses are generally considered bad for stocks.

That and "MaryAnn" from Gilligan's Island...
"allegedly" getting busted for pot! SIGH! BUT the Cubs lost, so somehow that balanced things again and the apocalypse has been delayed for awhile. NOW, IF we actually beat the COWBOYS?? WHO KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?? I mean, what would ESPN or NFL Network say?? I imagine the word "SHOCKER" might be used. GO CARDS!!
