Unless he is hurt I would bet my house, wife, dog and cat that Luck will go #1 to the Colts and likely RG3 to the Redskins. How could you possibly not have the Colts going with a QB like Luck? I think this is one case where I would trade all my draft picks for Luck. He is about a sure a thing in the draft there is with RG3 close behind. He is a difference maker plus and as most people say is the best QB to come out since John Elway.

They're just in alphabetical order.

It's a fun exercise to guess where prospect 'X' or 'Y' may end up, but, frankly, it's a bit irrelevant to the draft outcome for a fan of a specific team.

The more important exercise, I'd argue, is naming the individuals who will be selected before one's pick as only then does one have a true sense of who could be selected by the Cards.

So here is my 12, in no specific order, that I think will be off the board when the Cards select:

After Day One - someone will have the bragging rights!

  1. Blackmon
  2. Brockers
  3. Claiborne
  4. Coples
  5. Ingram
  6. Kahlil
  7. Kuechly
  8. Luck
  9. RG 111
  10. Reiff
  11. Richardson
  12. Tannehill
Your 12?
lol, just to help everybody...

Ok - now pick the first 12 off the board.

If those first 12 were off the board, I would be fine with the Cards taking Hightower. However, we both know this won't happen. Poe, Tannahill, Coples, and Reiff all could go top 12.

I didn't think about it til later, but does anyone else have Poe dropping like a stone?

Also - the Gilmore to Jax at #7 buzz (also projected by Peter King) seems like a reach, but the rumor simply refuses to die.

1- Luck
2- Griffen
3- Claybourn
4- Richardson
5- Keuchly
6- Kalil
7- Blackmon
8- Tannehill
9- Floyd
10- Gilmore
11- Cox
12- Ingram

That leaves among others: Reiff, DeCastro, Barron, McClellin, Brockers, Mercilus, Hill, Hightower and Upshaw as those most mentioned here. That would take us out to pick #21.

My list
1.Luck
2.RG3
3.Kalil
4.Richardson
5.Claiborne
6.Blackmon
7.Floyd
8.Cox
9.Coples
10.Gilmore
11.Ingram
12.Tannehill

If it falls this way that leaves the choice between Decastro and Rieff unfortunately I think we choose Rieff.

12. Ingram

Tanneyhill is sure getting a lot of press but when it gets down to crunch time I do not think he will be in the top 10. Maybe not even in the top 20. He has only two years of experience at QB and a lot of interceptions. Even if he makes it then it would take some team several years to prepare him. I just do not see this happening. What he does have is good athleticism and a strong if not accurate arm. That is not enough to put you in the top 10 IMHO>

I don't think he has top 10 ability at this point but he does have top 10 potential, at the most important position. The rookie salary cap may make teams take a chance on a guy like this earlier then in years past. I hope he goes in the top 12 because that will leave one more player for us to take.

I don't get it either John. If I'm GM of an NFL team and understand the small window you have to win and how important a QB is to winning I'd take Weedon from Oklahoma State. He may not have as long a career but I'm willing to bet you could win with him sooner than with Tanneyhill.

(Note: no bias here. They're both Aggies. :) )

Seattle would like to have a shot at him at 12.
