Go to NFL.com and watch those two beasts slug it out during Alabama's pro day. I'm starting to warm up to the thought of the Cards finding a way to land both of those guys and just smashing the heck out of teams.

Warmack is the best run blocking guard I have ever seen and Fluker is just a flat out beast. Line up in a two tightend set and smash Mendenhall in there 20 times a game with those two road graders leading the way.

Warmack and Fluker were soaking wet with sweat, they worked like it was the BCSCG often going head-to-head in drills

Warmack wanted to show his athleticism and ''just show what I can bring to the table if anybody wants to draft me.''
Projected as a top-10 pick by some, the guard said he doesn't pay attention to mock drafts.
''I don't have time,'' Warmack said. ''If I'm not sleeping, I'm training and if I'm not training I'm talking to teams. This has been a busy schedule for me, but it's fine. I'm having fun.''
Alabama coach Nick Saban said Warmack's skills make him a good bet as a high pick at a position that produces relatively few first-rounders.
''I just think that Chance has unique skill set and he's got really good size,'' Saban said. ''He's very powerful, he's athletic, he's got good feet, he can pass block and he can get moving in the run game. I think people that have his kind of balance and body control and the kind of athleticism that he has at his size are rare commodities. Everybody knows that those guys play 12, 14, 15 years. I think Chance has a chance to have that kind of career.''

Seems as good a place as any to mention that the latest rumor to hit the blogosphere is that "the Cards are not expected to draft a QB at #7."

Source of that rumor was an opinion-tweet - either by Jurecki or Somers - that got picked up by the rumor-sites and is now reverberating off the walls of the media echo chamber as though it was real info.

Shows you how innocuous blogs can take on lives of heir own.

I am giving a money back guarantee that Fluker will be there at #39

Watching film, teams will quickly realize that he might be a NFL right tackle, but the safest projection is inside to guard.

Sounds good to me. I'd be happy if they ran it 60% of the time. Don't think that BA is into running though, so don't see it happening.

IF we go offensive line back to back in the first two rounds, give me Chance Warmack and Terron Armstead. I'm not taking two OGs that early, especially if I have to convert one from a tackle to a guard. Too many other needs with better talent available. If I take another OG, I am fine with taking Earl Watford in the 4th or 5th round.

Do you mean Warford? If so I like him a lot. You really think he will drop that low? That would be perfect.

No he meant Watford.

Not saying combine is everything, but Warford had a terrible combine. Not athletic at all, but that could be because I don't pay that close attention to speed and quickness numbers for guards.

Watford is a late-round OG from James Madison. Warford however might go in the late first. However if he drops to #38 we need to jump on him whether we took Warmack or not.

I wonder where Kelemete fits in all this? He sure looked like he had some skills during his limited playing time last year.

Kelemete didn't really impress me but it was his very first action so it doesn't mean anything. He's still underweight but i'd like to see him compete for a starting job at one of the Guard spots.

Why do you write he's underweight? He's listed at 6'3" 307 which is about the same as Colledge who is listed at 6'4" 300. Of course we know how these listed weights go. Just curious.

He just looked thin to me. If he's nearly 310 he hides it well. Nothing a summer with Lott can't help.

I'm good with Warmack. I just don't think Fluker will be there. The way Arians/Keim seem to be changing things, we could see an almost entirely new OL.
Brown, Warmack, Schwenke, Potter/Kelemete, Massie.
