Backus is a LT, has played nothing but LT his whole career.

Whitner is a SS. Nate Salley is the FS for Ohio St.

Does Dayne, Bennet, JJ combo really help our run game. There isnt a starter in the bunch. A so called RB by commitee is dead and can only get you so far without a real starter.

Is that why PIT, ATL, and DEN all had the best ground games last year? They all were RB by committees.

The unspoken lesson here - Check out the offensive lines of each of the above teams.

Good point. PITT, ATL and DEN have some of the best offensive lines in the NFL. (along with KC & SEA)

I have noticed everyone is tabbing Omar Jacobs for the third round. My bet is he goes in the second.

It really depends on his combine or pro day workouts. Most draft guru's have him 3rd to 4th round but if he really looks good I could see him moving up. He had an injury ridden junior year and has a poor throwing motion.

If Losman can go in the freaking first then Omar can go in the opening of the second.

1. Denver has a semi RB by commitee. They have 2 starting caliber RB's hence using both Bell and Anderson equally. They have that luxury. Much higher talent then that of JJ, Dayne, and Bennett.

2. Pit does not have a RB by commitee, Willie Parker is the unquestionable #1 starter and the attempts he got compared to all the other RB's on the team shows as such.

3. See # 2 as it is the same for ATL

this statement is so true.

i will have to agree with corey chavous with McNeil. draft him in the third or fourth round and let him learn under warner. he has a strong arm and a ton of athletic ability. a couple of years on the bench and working on his qb skills he will be the next steve mcnair.

The reason Losman went in the 1st is because Buffalo had decided to get rid of Bledsoe and they had no other QB "in the wings". They reacted in the same way we did when we drafted Pace......which was a "knee jerk" reaction based on the fact that DE's were flying off the board and Graves/Mac didn't want to be left holding the bag. The Bills were desperate to lock up a potential talent to replace Bledsoe. While the jury is still out, a case is starting to form that might suggest that they indeed overreached.

The comment that McNeal will become the next McNair is hyperbole.......you and/or anyone else have no clue as to this eventuality.

He is making a personal assesment.

I would think one such as yourself would understand that especially after starting this thread, which is the king of Hyperbole threads.

By the way I dont mind you thread at all. You were just making your own educated guesses just like myself and everyone else.

Both

Whitner is a SS. Nate Salley is the FS for Ohio St.

He can play both some even think he can play corner.
He is fast enough to play FS .But hits and blitzes like a SS
Thats why i feel he will be a pro bowler
