Mitch, I'm still scared away of the lack of production in the NFL of Bama players, especially a 1st rounder.

How's that Chance Warmack doing? The one that 95 % of this board wanted so desperately. Greatest interior lineman ever.

Just messing with the crowd. Be very wary of Saban players. They are components of a very good system.

1st round safeties, RBs and ILBs don't seem to fit into 1st round worth.

Warmack... Started slow like most rookies. Played well in the end, notably against us. Love to have him combined with Cooper for the next decade.

I think safeties are becoming more of a hybrid position and aren't really defined as much as strong safety and free safety anymore. Pryor and Dix will definitely be in the conversation if they are available. They wouldn't be my first choice but they're definite options.

I would love to have Calvin Pryor fall to us at 20. He is the exact blend of player that Bruce Arians likes in the secondary to either play up in the box with strength, or deep in coverage as well. He would be an ideal fit for this.

That every coach likes...

I find it hard to accept this team will go safety if Barr or Donald slide to our pick :)

Most draft sites have Anthony Barr ranked as a top 10-12 draft pick. Aaron Donald is ranked lower.

CBSSports
10 Anthony Barr
15 Hasean Clinton-Dix
16 Aaron Donald
25 Calvin Pryor

NFL.com
Anthony Barr 6.6
Calvin Pryor 6.15
Hasean Clinton-Dix 6.1
Aaron Donald 5.35

Per Kurt Warner and NFL network Teddy Bridgewater having a pretty mediocre pro day.

Kurt seems pretty disappointed since a pro day is when you should shine with your scripted throws, environment and own WR's...

He is my leading candidate to be most likely to agonize in the "green room" on Draft Day 1.

I hope he green rooms his ass all the way down to #20 and we take him.

When we pick at #20, there always is a guy or two who fall through the cracks, and we get an early Christmas present. But my question, could anyone/everyone list from five to ten guys who should be available when we pick? Thanks.

When you can get the 20th best player in the entire U.S.A. he should be a good player unless your GM and friends do not know what they are doing. So far they have been rather smart.

I don't. We're all in for 2014. Taking a guy who is going to sit on the bench all year is stupid in our circumstances.

Getting a QBOF is NEVER stupid.

What moves have we made that say we are all in? Denver is ALL IN… Us? Not so much. We think we have a shot but we aren't ALL IN IMO.

CC. Los & Dwash say hi.

It's been a strange round for the Cardinals for sure. Almost like its been miss, hit, miss, hit, miss....

Levar Fisher-Anquan Boldin. Karlos Dansby-JJ Arrington. Alan Branch-Calais Campbell. Cody Brown-Daryl Washington. So it could be that Minter will be successful as a Cardinal following Ryan Williams.

Only Deuce Lutui doesn't fit. But then Deuce was so big and so inconsistent that he counts as both a hit and a miss.

There are some huge hits (home runs) on that list. It probably falls into the league average of about 50% success rate on those picks.

Lutui simply ate himself out of the league but it's a self induced injury so I'm leading more towards as a miss.

As you have posted before the Cards simply need to stay away from RB's in rd 2 because I can't think of a single one that panned out.

Probably, but what is different about the Cardinals is that they tend to alternate misses and hits for the most part.

Fisher then Boldin, Dansby then Arrington. Branch followed by Calais who was followed by Cody Brown who was followed by DWash who was followed by Ryan Williams.

As for 2nd round RBs its still, after all these years, hard to believe that they have missed on every single RB, and there have been several, taken in round 2 since Marshall Goldberg taken in round two in 1939!
