This has got to be torture for everybody involved with the Nuggets, the Cavaliers, and the Grizzlies. And how lucky will Detroit be if Memphis did not get the number one pick? If they get that draft pick this season they are going to be very, very good.

Sheesh, Cleveland hit pay dirt.

I hope they don't riot in Cleveland.

Why does Detriot get the Grizzlies pick this year?

Detriot. - In the East finals and with the number 2 pick. That is scary.

As far as I'm concerned Detroit is the team that won the lottery. Cleveland was almost a given. For the Pistons to sneak in there and have a choice of Darko and Anthony is probably better than they could have ever imagined.

detroit got a pick from when they traded otis thorpe back in like 97 I think.....this year the pick was only protected if memphis didnt get the number 1 pick....so detroit did as good as they could have done...and yes, detroit will be very very scary next year

We are still owed a pick from Cleveland once they make the playoffs, right? I heard they also owe Miami a pick, would we get the pick first?

DA just said that detroit will definitely be taking Darko at number 2. Apparently they worked him out today, and were very very impressed. The move also would allow Ben Wallace move to PF where they feel he could be more comfterable. He ended it with "Trust me, that is how it is going to go"

That would probably make every team happy in the top 3. Denver would probably rather have Melo then Darko. They need perimeter scoring, even though a front duo of Darko and Nene would be scary.

That should improve our chances to get that first round pick from Cleveland next season. If Lebron has any type of impact and Jeff van Gundy signs with them they might actually get the 8th seed in the East which should be the #14 pick in the draft.
