Hmmm.. Kulabafi currently wears 30. But Rudy Ford has now chosen that number? Is there a message there?

Dorian Johnson - 64, good number. Has all the feels of a long term cornerstone.

Chad Williams, 16. also a good number. I can see #16 being a difference maker.

Reddicks 43 concerns me. I just picture 43 and dont hear cheers. "And theres #43 again with his 6th sack today!". Nope

51 would be a great number for Reddick

i like numbers that are unusual for the position - like LBs with 40 series numbers

If ASFN had jersey numbers for everyone, you'd be a solid #73!

Curious as to when this changed because I remember Brian Bozworth in a tiff with the league over him wearing #44 which is what he wore in college. He was relegated to #55 which is probably what he blames his sucking on.

LB's haven't been allowed to wear 40's until relatively recently - like in the last decade. Used to be only 50's & 90's. Boz got some kind of exemption, or paid the fine every week, or something like that - definitely wasn't allowed back in his (brief) NFL days.

A quick Google search turned up this article.. very interesting. If he was able to prevail in court, I'm shocked that other players since haven't demanded to wear whatever number they choose. With case law setting the precedent, shouldn't even require going back to court...

I remember when Reggie Bush came out of USC, he wanted the NFL to let him wear #5 as he had in college, and they said "no dice". Hmm.

Which was strange because Paul Horning wore #5 for the Packers as a RB.

As the 1st overall pick and HOF QB of this expansion franchise I claim #1.

Whos we? Im not a lineman.

Im #1 (QB) OR #20 (S - GOAT Ed Reeds number)

If someone on a message board equated to a lineman they would need to block information coming their way and instead push their narrative forward no matter what the narrative is. Sounds like you are a lineman to me.
