Rd1 Byron Leftwich QB - franchise QB's shouldn't be passed on(beating a dead horse) if he and Mccown both suceed so be it (if somehow Rogers falls then he would be my pick).

Rd2 Dennis Weathersby CB - big, fast, press corner to match up with bigger recievers(T.O. to be specific)

Rd3 Antwan Peek DE - for obvious reasons.

Rd4 Doug Gabriel or Tyrone Calico WR - big and in Calico's case fast recievers who just lack technique(who better than Sullivan.... oops I mean Tolbert to groom them)

Rd5 Lawrence Flugence ILB - playmaker who improved everyyear

Rd6 a) Austin King C- started since he was a freshman and is compared to Grutts.

b) Clifford Washburn DE - project with Peppers type size and speed(very raw)

Rd7 Bernard Riley DT - big tackle who could push for a spot on the team

Most of my info is from Sporting News draft guide and thats how I picked the rounds they would be selected. I'm not in the mood to babble today so go ahead and tear it up.

As much as I want Suggs,,,, If he does'nt fall to us as popular belief would indicate:rolleyes: & we don't attempt to move up to get him then I agree Leftwich would be the obvious alternative. If we draft a DT with our first pick....  it better be because we traded down, got some additional picks. Most mock I've seen have Weathersby going in the 1st rd. Good job though

Considering that you're launching that from way over in England, that's an outstanding mock!

I haven't done one. I really would have no idea where to go in the fourth, fifth and sixth.

In the seventh I would take the two sports star who made it into the college hall of fame for playing two sports on the same day. He's about 6'4" 270 pounds. Great athelete. Very small school.
It's driving me nuts that I can't think of his name....

YO WIZ, Just Waiting on the freakin Draft. By the way Pat Holloway & the patriots got ousted from the H.S. playoffs in the quarter finals. I think it was a sub-urban school who smacked them!!! Haven't seen Pat to tell him you said hello yet...

Pretty good Mock! I'm not totally sold on Peek, and I'm not sure he will last until the third. Personally, I don't think corner is as big a need as some, and I really think Weathersby will have problems keeping up with quicker receivers in the NFL.

How is it that a Brit over in England becomes a Cardinals fan? Seems very odd :D!

Oh so you are a Yank! Cool.

That's good to hear that at least you have a few other Cards fans in your area!
