Just making sure ;) His character issues are a major concern, but his athletic ability is off the charts. I think his money will be made mainly during the interview process.

Both Haason Reddick and Dion Dawkins were cleared by the Temple Student Board who determined that they both were misidentified in the fight outside a nightclub (January 2015) that injured a Temple student, Benjamin Wood. Their case never went to trial and charges were dropped when both Reddick and Dawkins agreed to enter a diversionary program that actually caters to non-violent scenarios.

Not sure if this a "major" comcern.

According to this they accepted a plea agreement to get the charges knocked down to a misdemeanor. He hasn't been in trouble since, so maybe saying "major" was a bit of a reach.

#13 --- 1,150

# 20 + #80 = 1,040

It's really not that far off, Harry.

I figured that because the Broncos have a compensatory 3rd rounder (projected at #102), they would be willing to trade their 3rd round (#80) to move up.

Plus---I like Haason Reddick at OLB on the edge for us and if and when needed at ILB. It's his versatility, TFL and pass rush ability that I think make him special.

Denver does not have Pick #80 they have # 82.

To help everybody out here is the link that shows the Comp Picks, also move you arrow over the team name and it will show you each teams picks and placement numbers. Click on the Team Name and it will also highlight the picks and costs.

I like Zay Jones, WBB. Good call on him. I'm not sure he will on the board at #77. He made quite a splash at the Senior Bowl.

Day 2 and Day 3 WRs I like for the Cardinals:

* Curtis Samuel, Ohio St. Interchangeable WR/RB. Love what he brings to the slot.
* Cooper Kupp, Eastern Washington. He's like the Pats' Chris Hogan, he's always open.
* Dede Westbrook, Oklahoma. Slot guy, good hands and RAC ability. Some off-field red flags, however.
* Isaiah Ford, Virginia Tech. Tremendous competitor. Might be as talented as any WR in the draft.
* Chris Godwin, Penn St. Solid in all areas. Not flashy, but very productive.
* Taywan Taylor, Western Kentucky. He's going to shoot up draft boards. This kid is legit---total package.
* Artavis Scott, Clemson. Good punt returner and slot WR. Needs more consistency---route running and catching the ball.
* Travis Rudloph, Florida St. Good red zone WR...very slippery and smooth catching the ball.
* KD Cannon, Baylor. One of the best vertical threats in the draft. Skills need refinement.

My super sleeper at WR: Jalen Robinette, Air Force. Check this dude out (6-4, 215):

My opinion Godwin is going to turn out to be a good WR in the NFL. Runs good routes, get separation and catches well with his hands.

Haasan Reddick got arrested for assault and then bailed out of punishment because the judge was a big temple fan

I don't think I have ever gotten the Cardinals' first two draft picks correct...but this time was the exception.

Tried to address key needs in FA---still can't believe Steve Keim's approach to FA this year.

He knew he couldn't pay everyone so he focused on getting comp picks for guys he was going to lose anyway and he must have felt there wasn't a FA available in their price range that could help him...he was wrong of course because Brandon Carr has been a solid signing for BAL as has Alshon Jeffrey for PHI. He needs to evaluate FA's better as the guys he brought in haven't had the impact he had hoped they would. Bethea & Dansby have had decent seasons so far but they don't have much left in the tank. Coaching staff changes seem like a must as defense and offense as a whole have been disappointing.

What's hard to understand FA wise:

1. No good threat RB to back up DJ.
2. No WR to replace Michael Floyd
3. No UFA RG---thinking that Boehm was the answer was a real stretch
4. No stud DE to replace Campbell
5. Signing Dansby at ILB on the 1st day of FA when there were younger, better ILBers available.

In our off-season UFA and draft plans we tried to account for those needs---why wouldn't Keim?

It's a two way street. But they really need to reach out to some of these FA's rather then reach in drafts to fill holes (B. Williams and C. Williams). They continue to bypass gifts that fall in their laps in order to fill percieved holes in the roster through their early draft picks.
