I don't know about you, but I enjoy collecting football cards as a way to waste money for no particular reason or use.

I was wondering if anyone has seen the new 2003 Press Pass rookie cards. Anyone seen 'em? I asked the guy at BoxSeat collectibles in Ahwatukee a couple weeks back, but he said that the line was way delayed.

Hate to pollute the board with dumb questions, but I have almost the complete set of the 2002 cards, and I don't have the cash to invest in a box of Sage cards. Nothing like running to the Circle K to get some petrol and picking up a pack of Press Pass.

I agree there are no stupid questions.

But dont portray it as a draft question if thats not what it is!

Just say hey anyone collect cards? I have a question?

I still collect cards. Don't know about the 2002 Press Pass.

I've been to Box Seat Collectables many times, and yeah, I've been known to gas up based on where I can grab a couple of packs....

Thanks for the link, Wizard, but all the card shops they name are in Sierra Vista or Tucson. What's that all about?

I was just wondering if anyone had seen the new 2003 line somewhere. They don't have a checklist on the web site or anything, so I assume that they're not out yet.

Speaking of cards, the best football cards are the Playoff Authentic line. I got 2 autograph cards (Favre and Q. Carter) in like 10 packs. Target's the bomb.

All right, if no one knows anything, I hope this thread dies, because I feel like such a nerd writing about this.

I collect all the Cardinal Rookie cards every year. I go to a little pop (not a mom and pop store mind you!) and he knows me so well now that I just go there about a week after the draft and he has them all sitting right there ready to go. Now, if I could just get him to mail them to me I'd be set!!!

Hey, I have some old Walter Paytons, Franco Harris and like cards I'd be willing to part with. Of course, they're not in the greatest shape, but make me an offer, someone. Give me a PM if you're interested and I'll tell you what I have/what shape they're in.

It may be a waste of money but at least the "touch and go" rule doesn't apply like some other very fun waste of money.
