I don't know why the kid is such a polarizing figure. Solid QB prospect if you ask me. But, it is a rumor, I doubt it happens personally.

I heard a scout talking about him recently. He said that McCarron never really had to deal with alot of pressure. But in the two games he watched last year where there was alot of pressure, McCarron folded.

This isn't me, this is just what I heard. I wish I remembered the scout's name. But anyway, he did have doubts about McCarron's ability to deal with NFL pressure due to what he saw in those games.

IMO QB Zach Mettenberger LSU is a better fit for Arians offense as he has the big arm. I think both Mettenberger and McCarron will go 2nd round.

if you read the linked item closely -- none of it is coming from Cardinal sources

more like personnel guys from other teams speculating: hey, McCarron could be a nice fit for AZ.

Even the article notes that Arians likes a big arm, which isnt McCarron's strength

Decent strength and accuracy. He's a good game manager. He's made some big throws in the championship games when he's had to. But that Bama running attack and the D has carried that team almost always.

I'd still take Murray over him.

He's not an NFL quarterback. You could of put Mettenberger from LSU or Murray from Georgia on that team and they have just as much success, he's Ken Dorsey version 2.0

The fact Barret Jones would read the defense and tell him what to do is externally alarming. I've never seen a QB throw a temper tantrum on the field like that. Also he's never been team captain. In his senior year they voted CJ Mosely captain that tells you all you need to know about him
