To each his own bro. I'm just trying not to be doom & gloomed. I always said roll the ball out and if you are up to the task anything can happen with a plan & right mind set. That exactly what I used to tell my teams. Negatively gets you absolutely nothing. You keep trying if necessary and results will come with right thinking & effort.
If we were 20 games into the season maybe, but we are past half way, outside the playoffs and have a brutally difficult schedule the rest of the way.

If we can't even get up enough to beat the Blazers when we badly need wins, I just don't see it.

Gambo said no matter what happens the Suns will not go into tank mode. That is not on the table. They will be competitive no matter what. They will look at deals to keep the team competitive.

I guess there is some good news. The team acknowledged the team isn't winning as constructed. I know it's not much but Gambo is saying the team is aware. They are not under the delusion this is a good team.

I Would never say quit unless I was faced with elimination. Suns still got 33 games left. You say they are outside the playoff well they are right there with 2 other teams for that 8th spot. They are not eliminated yet but they are struggling but there's time to turn it around.

You move forward & make adjustments to the competition. That's what Suns needs do and toughen up their defense. They have talent. You work with what you got if you can't get help.

Sometimes I used think everybody wants a easy season and a ton of blowout wins but a 1 or 2 point win over another tough team is far more gratifying that a blown out any day. It's competition. Compete, compete, and keep on competing. And the Suns are due for some breaks in their favor.

That’s the worst position to be in in the NBA. Being in the middle sucks. You want to be at the very bottom or top, but I can see why we wouldn’t want to tank since we don’t own any of our picks

Yeah, not sure the pathway here if the Suns don't trade Durant, Book or Beal. They won't bottom out but they won't be any good either.

Looking at Miami's roster, if they want KD then they are looking at a 3-y window, then they'd have no problem also enhance the deal by swapping Herro for Beal. So, some 3-team deal like
Miami get KD, Beal, Richards, Jones; Suns get JB, Herro, Ware, Capella +1-2 FRPs; Hawks get DRobinson+2 SRPs.
Suns then trade Nurk + picks for other assets.

I know people want to blow it up, but that's not happening until Beal's contract runs out. All of the conjectured moves we could make all come back to Beal not being able to be dealt.

Also, listening to Kellen Olsen and the point was made on his podcast is everyone around the league is looking for bigs. So just offering up a Grayson Allen for a big is probably not going to work.

At this point, I just want to keep our draft picks we have now, actually use them, and wait out the Beal contract. I am resigned to the fact that this is all on hold for a couple more seasons, barring hitting a gold mine in this draft if we actually used the picks.

Dodged that Butler bullet thank god.

Now who wants KD
The Suns don't appear to be willing to move KD unless he wants to go. So, it's over. No major moves. Now it becomes a matter of how many small tweaks (if any) are we going to see.

Welp... going to be an anticlimactic trade deadline for The Suns. Looking forward to a play-in exit with this group of losers.

Interesting that kuminga was not in the trade.

I would gladly trade Grayson or Royce and our 1sts for him.

The way I understood it, they wanted to move him rather than pay him big money.

That may be why we didn't go for him. Also, maybe why he wasn't traded. It seems teams are more interested in staying under the Aprons

Really so you think ishiba cares about that now even when he was the only one promising butler a max extension?

I mean maybe, I kind of hope reality is smacking him in the face.

Even though he's a billionaire and can afford it, it just makes it that much harder to dig out when you want to shake things up. I think this trade deadline taught them that. Also, NTC with Beal can kill everything.

Butler to Warriors done!

That just came across my email.

I hope Butler is healthy and in shape. They're supposed to get Kuminga back soon until they do they can't win without Wiggins and Anderson unless Butler is healthy enough to play right away.

He's a good player but they got smaller and Wiggs was having a very good year.

The UCLA fan in me was hoping Jaquez would be in the deal
