I’m sure this will be 100% accurate. But here’s my Cards draft week mock.

Round 1-Jihaad Campbell, LB, Bama:
I just think he’s a perfect fit for the defense and can be a major playmaker. I know the positional value isn’t there but he can rush the passer too.

Round 2- Kevin Booker, OG, Bama:
I like him or Donovan Jackson. He’s mocked to the Cards in round 2 by Kiper/Yates. OGs tend to slide.

Round 3-Ozzie Trapillo, OT, Boston College: Cards continue to upgrade OL. Huge ROT that can take over for Jonah Williams. He’s a great run blocker, good pass blocker, and gives the Cards bookend tackles.

Round 4-Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State:
His talent is just too good to pass on. He’s a tough call. Are you getting the guy who plays great every other year or the so-so guy every other year?

Round 4(trade)-Cam Skatebo, RB ASU:
I think the Cards will make a trade to get him. One way or another, I think Mikey calls the shot for him to be a Cardinal.

That’s all. 4 rounds is enough.
Blast away.

I want 1 of the DTs in rd instead of a ILB. Love the rest of your mock.

DT will probably be the pick in round 1 but I really like Campbell. I’m hoping he can be a Patrick Willis/Micah Parsons type player. I know that’s asking a lot.
Plus, the Cards have alot of guys in the DT rotation. Robinson is the key. If they think he’s going to be great, that lessens the need.

I wouldn’t complain if Grant, Nolen, or Harmon was the pick.

CC is 39 and DT only has 2 years on his contract. Plus DTs typically take a couple years to reach their potential. I also miss los and washout and if Campbell could be as good then it would be a great pick.

My favorite mock drafts tend to fall like this

Round 1 - DL
Either Walter Nolen, Derrick Harmon or Kenneth Grant

Round 2 - OL
Either Aireontae Ersery, Tyler Booker, Donovan Jackson or Jonah Savaiinaea

Round 3 - EDGE
Either Bradyn Swinson, Oli Oladejo, Princely, or JT

Round 4 - WR
Either Bech, Williams or Horton

I find if I go EDGE in round 1, I tend to miss out on DL players. Just never seems to be a good spot. OL in round 1 leads to a lot of EDGE in round 2 and then sometimes a WR falls in 3.

These are obviously just sims but it's generally what I see across a couple different sites.

Sorry but there's no universe where we draft Skatebo.

Conner/Benson/locker-room-favorite Demarcado/M. Carter

Is Skatebo better than any of those guys?

What about Josiah Stewart? You think he's gone round two?

Tyler Booker.

Kevin sounds like Devin Booker who plays for the Suns.

A 1st round ILBer and no DTs or Edges in this class? I would be calling for Monti's firing.

Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell (shoulder) had shoulder surgery after the NFL scouting combine in February, and teams are projecting him as a candidate to start his rookie season on the Physically Unable to Perform list in 2025, according to SI.com's Albert Breer. Before his labrum injury, the 21-year-old linebacker was considered a potential top-10 pick in this draft. Campbell's injury is definitely going to cause him to slide down the board in this year's draft, but a team seeking defensive help like the Cincinnati Bengals could find excellent value later on with Campbell. There's a good chance that Campbell will have to miss time early on in his first year in the NFL, but it doesn't mean that he won't have the ability to be a staple in the middle of a team's defense down the road. Even though he's injured, it's possible he'll still be taken in the first round on Thursday.

Fireable offense to draft him in the 1st, given this information.

Love a lot of this if the players fell right. I like Grant. Jackson gone but I’ll take any of the others. I set a 40 record if Princely were there. All the WRs okay.

I really like OG Tyler Booker. But no way he gets out of the first round. Just think he might be a reach at 16 and there will be a better player there most likely a DT or ER.

Tet falls to pick #16 and the Cardinals snatch him up. WR is still a big need, maybe the Cardinals most underrated need. Having Tet falls to the point could be robbery, he's big, fast, and is a good YAC player.

The Cardinals see Mike Green falling and decide to call the Steelers and offer their 2nd round and a package of 2026 picks to get the job done. Green instantly becomes the best speed rusher on the roster and completes the process of making the Edge room a good one.

Ozy Trapilo is a massive man and is drafted as the RT of the future. He has experience at both LT and RT. Smart kid, BC lineman generally do pretty well in the NFL. He needs to gain a little weight but I feel great about getting Trapilo at this point.

While the signing of Tomlinson and Campbell help immediately, the Cardinals need to add some young depth to the DL. Caldwell is 0T type who has a good shot to stick and be a good rotational DL in the future. Caldwell has shown the ability to get some push in the past so he isn't just a run stuffer.

I really like the RB room, but I think that Benson didn't show quite enough that I think the room is completely settled. Giddens has some great traits and he will have a chance to play special teams and provide depth. Giddens tested really well, showing good speed and burst, so there is a chance he could surprise.

With the Cardinals last pick they go for a legacy player, former Cardinals player Pete Kendall's son, Drew Kendall. Drew isn't even close to the caliber of player that his father was. Drew Kendall might be a center only prospect, but he is a good football player and might be able to move to guard.

Again, it's just sims, but I tend to feel like trading up from our 2nd round pick presents more value in terms of players than staying put. I haven't tried trading up into the 1st round, but I feel like the trade off is worth it when I do move up into the early 2nd.
