South Kent Academy sounds like a cross between a military school and private college, a college prep HS.

This kid may be a little more prepared than some of the other HS in this draft and in recent years. He maybe as ready as Amare, just from a more stable background.

Andray Blatche sounds like an interesting prospect, however, except for the selection of Stoudemire in recent years, I am less confident (than I previously have been) in the Suns' recent draft selections. In looking at a player like Blatche, a good scouting staff is a must. However, I think the jury is still out on players like Zarko, Jacobsen and Barbosa among others. Although I'm sure they did not produce as well as the Suns anticipated thus far.

I think the death of previous Suns' scout, Percodini, may have had more serious consequences than I expected. Also the loss of Cotton may hurt the Suns' decision making in future drafts as well. I just don't know, for example, whose input scouting input ultimately lead the Suns to pick Barbosa instead of a Josh Howard?

The Suns, in my opinion, through the draft, trade or free agency desperately need at least another quality big and a PG. The Suns bench this year has been woefully weak with the exception of Jim Jackson and some good minutes, on occasion, by Hunter. I'm hoping the Suns will not lose Hunter in free agency because he has shown some potential at such a young age (I believe he is 22).

The Suns just cannot afford to miss on their 21st pick this year. He needs to be a player with the ability to contribute soon (BPA) hopefully a big man or a PG. However, if the BPA is at another position, the Suns need to take him and fill in the gaps on the bench as best they can with role players.

Wait just a second... you're forgetting that recently the Suns stole the rights to the best PG in Europe (Vujanic) from the Knicks and last year they parleyed their worthless first round pick into the guy they really wanted (the Sausage King) and to top it all, get the Bulls first round pick this year? And they didn't get nothing for Zarko either - they took advantage of Mullin/St. Jean to the tune of a 'conditional' second round pick. On the condition that GS has no use for it, we get it! Come on, give credit where it's due.

I wonder if we could work a deal with San Antonio - they get the Chi pick instead of ours and in exchange they tell us who they planned to pick at #30...

Yeah, Bryan Colangelo has been a real crappy GM lately, hasn't he?
