I was watching Dragonslayer the other night when I noticed an actor who is now in the SW I, II, and III.

The preacher that gets torched by the dragon is Governor Palpatine (aka emperor). I think....

Any of you know if this is correct?

Not sure why I think this is post worthy but hey.... cut me some slack!!

Ian McDiarmid was most definitely Brother Jacopus in Dragonslayer.

Remember - he was also Palpatine in Return of the Jedi. And Lucas edited him into The Empire Strikes Back in his 2004 version.

Dragonslayer was such a good movie for its time.

I wasn't sure if Ian McDiarmid was in RotJ or not. I had heard about the addition to ESB.
