don't despair, folks. he'll be okay. remember, this is prima donna DRC we are talking about. his wincing in pain was probably exaggerated. medical staff brought out cart (as well they should have) as a precaution.
Could be just a deep bruise. It seems like he would have been in excruciating pain if it were a dislocation.
Time will tell
Umm u obviously weren't watchin. He was in excruciating pain.
Looks like you and MD might have overreacted a bit there bud, although we dodged a bullet to be sure. Nothing structural.
I was holding my breath though
We haven't dodged anything yet. I'll wait till the MRI results come through rather than the preliminary xray. I hope he's ok but I seriously doubt it.

JESUS people! DON'T come on here and state things as facts when you have zero idea of what is actually true! I heard contusion on TV (which, at this point, IS the truth), and then I came on here and thought they found something extra. Instead I was just reading a bunch of panicked speculation. How about the non-doctors on here NOT completely diagnose an injury? Especially on sight after a play and without any information from the field?
ok mom.

He got cleatted in the knee - even the tv announcers said it when it happened.
I don't know where people got dislocated knee cap from
A short time after he left the field the reporter said it was a "contusion". Of course, at that time there had been no x-rays. It should be all over the papers today.
The shots of him talking on the bench did not have the look of someone afraid he'd soon be sitting in a playoff game, it looked like he was pretty happy.
