Anquan Boldin-WR- Cardinals Mar. 8 - 11:24 pm et

Agent Drew Rosenhaus suggested that client Bryant McFadden's deal with the Cardinals is proof he can find common ground with the organization regarding Anquan Boldin, Edgerrin James, and Darnell Dockett.

"People think my relationship with the team is strained, but when you have several clients with one team, you're going to have situations come up," he said. Rosenhaus is working to get James' release and Boldin and Dockett better contracts. Dockett will be his toughest sell, and Boldin won't be easy.

He's right. When you have several clients with Drew as their agents, issues are going to arise.

There is no way Dockett will be addressed this year... the priority should be, which I believe is what the FO also has:

Wilson
Dansby
Boldin

Although he does spout a lot of bluster and blather in the media, he does seem to have a decent working relationship with RG.

Some teams thrive on drama. Others are the opposite.

If the Cardinal FO and coaching staff feel that "no drama" is part of the Cardinals' Super Bowl DNA, they're not going to appreciate Rosenhaus' tactics; and their patience is likely to wear thin much quicker than, say, Dallas, Cincy or Oakland.

The impression I get is that, in response to the melodrama, Rod Graves' inclination is to tune out all the static and focus on what he feels has to get done. What he won't do at either extreme is (a) cut off his proverbial nose to spite his face or (b) cave in to make the melodrama "go away."

I think that you just need to switch Dansby and Wilson. If they leave him franchised again, that is nearly enough money in guarantees to give him a long term deal. You can't let him go another franchised year and then a long term deal. He'll get like 40+ in guarantees in 3 years.
