A cross-country race? I keep expecting a Ferrari to pull up with Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin driving.
My thoughts exactly.
The show doesn't really do anything for me.

The more interesting part of the story is who the "others" are that are backing the race. Why they chose the people they did and what did they take from them.
Lots of action, but there is no substance to it--I don't really care about any of the characters, even Nathan Fillion's character.

Exclusive: Fox Cancels Drive
Drive has been impounded.
Multiple sources confirm that Fox has axed the Tim Minear creation after less than three weeks on the air. I'll go out on a limb and say the show's crappy ratings were to blame. House encores will take over its Monday/8 pm time slot.
There is one piece of good news: I'm hearing the final two unaired Drive eps may get burned off on consecutive Fridays in May.
Developing...
Canceled!

Disappointing. I was really digging this show after catching up on the episodes that I missed. (As impossible and the premise was, and as bad as some of the acting was.)
FOX has got to be the worst network on television. This network used to pride itself on these type of shows when the TV division was just getting off the ground. They have the quickets hook with new shows now. What about trying a new time slot? Fox is a joke.
I guess you're one of the minority who actually liked that show.
Bummer. The show was pretty dumb, but I still wanted to find out what was going on. This is the 2nd show that has been cancelled that I've invested time into. I think I'll go back to waiting for shows to be successful before jumping on board.
