Channel 12 Phoenix just had some great coverage. Including a few words from Deuce. With more than just the Youtube video to go on I have a different picture of things. Gruden made an assumption he shouldn't have IMO. Deuce said something to Anderson. Anderson responded. No big yucks on Anderson's part.

Frustration on Anderson's part at the presser.

This wasn't the first time DA has laughed in the middle of a blowout. Check out some of the Browns fans comments on national sites. He does this all the time. Even Derek himself didn't really deny it when Somers pointed out that it was on camera. Not to mention that Spach clearly rolls his eyes when he walks by, which leads me to believe that not everyone on the sidelines saw it as an innocuous event.

Nice try, Deuce, but you got caught in a moment of poor judgment. You only have to keep a straight face for three hours a week and you failed. Maybe you should have thought more about media relations during your summer holdout.

Sadly enough I think the bottomline is these games don't mean as much to these players as it does to us fans. We live for this team, giving away many hours of our free time to follow the team...What was displayed last night is just proof of that. Losing by 18 and you're smiling or laughing on the bench? I'm glad it's that f**king funny guys. This whole Cardinals team can piss off as far as I'm concerned, a bunch of underachievers.

Well I'm with Shane on this. The media and others are making a big deal out of nothing.

The point/problem isn't the laughing. People should laugh if they are having a good time. You should NOT be having a good time when you are getting your ass kicked in front of the entire country. Plain and simple.

I don't think anyone cares about the laughing on the sideline. People think that the meltdown is hilarious. And it is. Keep your composure, Derek.

And even he if wasn't REALLY having a good time on the sideline, we can see the power of perception when it comes to NFL starting QB's.

I have seen Brett Favre yucking it up when getting a beat down?

Come to think of it Phillip Rivers too.

Obviously doesnt happen often but I have seen it.

Those guys can get away with it for obvious reasons.

I think DA is in for really really rough times. Now that he went loco on national, the questions will get tougher for him. The fans want his head, (most do) and now he will be watched on the side line with a giant nitpick the nitwit microscope. I can understand the blow up, he does the same panic move at the end on the field too, he just quits, lays down, walks out.

This bum better bring us a good draft pick, he has no composure at all, and again, he is going to hurt more receivers before all is said and done with.

This is why I'm not on dcr's bandwagon of "let him finish the year". Other than that, I would agree with him...get us that first pick, Dewreck...just don't kill our guys in the process.

The way he stares down his receivers, I hope the passes over the middle just stop. Let him throw the quick side routes, (and hope for no pick 6) or just let him over throw an easy TD. I would take either over DA's leap frog passes in front the Harrison type smashers, that get off on crushing the receiver.

When some people are embarassed they deal with it with gallows humor or a smile. I know I do. Too much was made of this.

That said, DA should be cut because he SUCKS! Not because of the press conference.

Not making an excuse for him but damn i think you are all exaggerating!

Agreed. 100%.

This is taking away from time where we could be making more jokes about Anderson, and his horrendous physical abilities...... or lack there of.

Great take Rugby.

For Christsakes I was laughing at some of DeWreck's ridiculous passes while we were once again getting hammered by a team that could barely beat any other NFL team.

Turns out that is pretty much what was said actually, talked to one of the players/coaches today, although Deuce didn't completely put it in context. I guess it went more like

Anderson - #&@# I have played like $*#@ tonight
Duece - You'll be fine man, you know I got you're back
Anderson - Where were you on that last play? (smiling starts)
Duece - (starting to laugh) Well from now on
Anderson - (laughing) Oh, well maybe get my back on the field too
Duece - (laughing)

At least that is the story the two are both sticking with

That would be a great summation if he was actually laughing. He wasn't. ;)

Haha, that was the best part. The coach was laughing so hard when he said he watched the press conference and saw him go off. Cause he was standing right by them and he goes, "he was CLEARLY laughing, I could hear him". Anderson just got caught and didn't know how to react and tried the old let me yell at you tactic
