Claire Forlani is Under Siege
Source: The Hollywood Reporter
July 28, 2005

Claire Forlani is joining the cast of Dungeon Siege, director Uwe Boll's adaptation of the video game of the same name that Brightlight Pictures is filming in Vancouver.

The Hollywood Reporter says Forlani will play Solana, wife of the film's hero, Farmer, played by Jason Statham. Forlani has appeared in such films as Mystery Men, Meet Joe Black and the upcoming Green Street Hooligans.

Originally released in the United States on April 5, 2002, "Dungeon Siege" is an action/fantasy role-playing game (RPG) designed by Chris Taylor, president and creative director of Gas Powered Games. Published by Microsoft Game Studios, "Dungeon Siege" features a fantasy world where the inhabitants must battle evil forces attempting to take over their kingdom.

Interesting choice to turn into a movie. A lot of potential, but doubtful they'll pull it off. Hope they can though.

If that is the same director that made House of the Dead . I would not even bother watching it . That was one of the worst movies I have ever seen .

She is easily one of the top 5 most beautiful women in theo world. In Meet joe Black you can get lost staring into her eyes. And that dress at the birthday party at the end of the movie. OMG

That's what I'm talking about...

That's why she's #1 on my list for about 6 years running now...

Boll to Release Dungeon Siege in 2 Parts
Source: The Hollywood Reporter
October 27, 2005

The Hollywood Reporter says producer/director Uwe Boll has created a new distribution company, Event Film, which will release the $60 million In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale in two separate parts in wide release on November 3, 2006, and December 1, 2006.

Boll said it will be "a huge epic adventure, and to support the exhibitors who can't accept a movie so long, we decided to split the movie in half."

The project stars Jason Statham, Leelee Sobieski, John Rhys-Davies, Ray Liotta, Matthew Lillard, Burt Reynolds, Will Sanderson, Ron Perlman, Claire Forlani, Brian J. White, Kristanna Loken and Gabrielle Rose.
