You’re right. And the nets still somehow ended up with KD, kyrie, and harden. It didn’t work for them because of the who’s, but if the suns are able to land two more similarly talented players once kd and Paul retire, we keep in trekking along as a very good team. Books a recruiter. Ishbia is a big spender. Nice combo for post-KD/Paul era.

They got KD and Kyrie because they had a massive amount of cap space and it's New York. LA teams, Miami and the New York... except the Knicks because of Dolan, those teams have more leeway for disastrous moves because guys force their way onto those teams even when they suck.

Hmm do you think we might have massive cap space once Durant and Paul leave, the cap continues to climb and we really only have book and Ayton as cap eaters? We also have a superior recruiter who has now successfully pulled two hall of famers and daft warbucks deep pockets.

Yeah, so are you the only person other than I who doesn't mind having T.J. Warren back? Everyone seemed to be glad he was gone.

Even notwithstanding that i'm not naive about this. The deal probably included Warren as salary filler, and I do not assume he will stay. Probably be cut loose after this season.
Not me. I always liked him, maybe overvalued him. He is an incredible scorer who does not dominate the ball. Great midrange and around the hoop. He has also improved his three point shooting greatly. His d is the problem.

His d is A problem. His real problem is availability.

Honestly, I didn't know this, and appreciate hearing it. Some celebrities and organizations, such as Booker and the Phoenix Suns and probably the entire NBA, may not understand that some observers pay no attention to communication by Twitter or other trendy social media. Actually, no: more accurately, they might know it, but don't care.

So Booker likes Phoenix and claims to want to stay. I'm duly impressed.

Not only that, he proclaimed when we were at our lowest that he would become such a star he would make this a destination.

One super team later...he backed that up

With all due respect to Wojnarowski, he's not some Phoenix Suns local beat reporter, much less an insider. I don't need the national sports media to tell me what the Suns owner was like. All it does it make him Wojnarowski pompous.

Dude you have some weird and I'm sorry awful takes. He's a national reporter telling that to the nation. I thought you weren't a Suns fan anymore anyway?

I'm disappointed in Crowder and Monty. Should have been bigger men and made it work. I think the little feud between those 2 explains a lot. It seemed to reach a boiling point in the New Orleans series when the "F Jae Crowder" stuff started and I can see Monty thinking that was a distraction and essentially pushing things over the edge where they just continued to get worse until the game 7 humiliation. Jae was the only starter left out there for the bulk of the game.

I generally ignore national sports media for a reason very similar to why I had no interest in trading for a team-hopping ring-chasing superstar. Wojnarowski's level of respect is of no interest to me; I look to local sources for information on my local sports team.
well alrighty then

Weird take. Feels like you’re defending sarver. Woj knows a lot.
