Once Barkley took the court, he was as competitive and hard working as they come. He was a monster. But it's what Chuck did when he wasn't balling that kept us from having a title or two. And if he'd been half as dedicated in his preparation and conditioning as MJ was he'd be a consensus top 5 all time great.

Barkley is one of my all time favorite players to watch but if you're talking about their entire careers, I think CP3 wins out when it comes to greatest player to never win a title.

We can agree to disagree. I like CP3. Even as a vegan I can appreciate his off court preparation. However, as a guard, I would even pick Steve Nash over CP3, as a better player who never won a ring as a player.

Chris Paul is notorious for going MIA in the postseason on every team he’s played for. He was probably one complete playoff run from being considered the 2nd greatest PG ever.

That's true but AFAIC he should also be famous for dragging a bunch of under-talented teams to the postseason. And he should be notorious but more for his cheap antics (flopping, ref baiting etc.). But there's no question in my mind that he's the best two way true point guard to ever play the game.

Unlike Nash, CP3 was a legit two way superstar. I'd much rather watch Nash play the game but Chris was the total package.

Respectfully, I think Magic Johnson is a way better two way player than CP3. Let's see CP3 win a playoff game playing center.

I think offense is slightly more important than defense so I might choose someone other than CP3 too but, if so, it wouldn't be Nash. If I had a great defensive center backstopping a quality team defense, I'd definitely take Curry as my starter. But if I were looking for a true two way point guard, I'd take CP3 first and Gary Payton second. And, regardless of team makeup, I'd take all three of them over Nash.

Steve Nash never disappeared or was the main reason we lost a series. He had his flaws but Chris Paul completely no showed after game 2 vs Milwaukee, same vs Dallas and got hurt vs Denver. I’d take playoff Nash 100% over him.
