I have a Go video DVR 4300 combo DVD and VCR got as an Xmas present 2-3 years ago. It was skipping on some DVD's so I bought a Memorex DVD/CD lens cleaner and ran it through as directed. I now can't play ANY DVD's, it can't read them, when I eject them the display says CD which leads me to believe it somehow has reformatted to where it thinks DVD's are CD's(my player will play CD's too).
So far I can't get customer service either through go video or Memorex, anybody ever have this happen and get a solution? Nearest go video service center is 50 miles away over highway 17 and it's pouring down raining in California so I have no intention of going there. If need be I'll take it to a local VCR repair place that's not a licensed go video place. I can't find any sort of "reset" that would undo whatever the cleaner did.
