Is Dwayne Jarrett the next Mike Williams? The Mike Williams who, so far , has been a monumental flop for the Lions.

USC wide receiver, like Dwayne Jarrett. Declared early for NFL Draft 2004. #1 pick by Detroit Lions. Total bust in his short NFL career and one of the main reasons Matt Millen has become a joke of sorts with his drafts.

Dwayne Jarrett is often compared to Mike Williams.

I should have included :sarcasm: I knew who he was.

I remember all the hype he got. I think Jarret is a better player, but it's hard to see if that translated into NFL talent.

Look at a guy like Steve Smith. His size means "He's not a wide receiver" according to the NFL standards, but he's one of the best.

Jarrett is faster and more polished than Williams. Mike Williams could of been good if he didn't have that year off and have such a lazy attitude.

Faster and more mature but yes he's not a burner and will not wow NFL scouts with speed if he comes out. Great hands, more like Fitz than BMW not sure if his 40 time will be as fast though.
