I don't know, he signed with the Titans with only 2 years being a lock. They can get out of the contract after next season with minimal damage. A small gamble with that structure.

Sorry I was being a smartazz because he got suspended for gambling. He's a good player I agree.

Did Murray get hurt yesterday? I hope he’s ok. I had heard something about a hamstring.

Nothing official, but he had it worked on between every series in the second half and kept trying to work it on behind the bench with a look of frustration on his face.

I think they said on tv it was like a midsection thing, he got fallen on and it was in the stomach area. So they may have been trying to stretch that.

He didn't suck. McBride doesn't have his best game of his career if Kyler sucked.

Could he have played better, and did he make a couple bad throws one of which cost us a pick 6 yeah. But he didn't suck.

The O-line was the biggest culprit to me.

It was obvious th Oline was trash. My biggest question is why were there no adjustments?

IMO the Offensive Line had their worst game of the season. Too many times the Cardinals were way behind the sticks due to Holding/Blocking penalties. Five offensive holding/blocking penalties to be exact. Those 10 yard penalties are absolute drive killers, on the road, in a hostile environment. Those take you out of your game plan and force you to throw the ball.

To be fair it wasn't entirely on the OL. Wilson and Rieman each had an offensive holding call against them and McBride had an illegal block. Still, I consider Rieman as a part of the line more than a TE as he is primarily a blocker.

The Cardinals have been one of the least penalized teams in the league this season. For them to continue to have success they need to eliminate these costly penalties that we saw in Seattle and the OL/TEs need to execute better as a whole.

don't remember which play it was - they overloaded the edge with 2 defenders both indicating blitz - so we proceeded to motion our tight end away and to the other side - pretty sure kyler threw it away - it's all a blur now but there were mental breakdowns all over

the last time our o-line got abused like that was november 5th last year against the cleveland browns - same relentless pressure all game long

difference was we didn't have a kyler murray - we had a clayton tune

11 for 20 for 58 yards
2 interceptions - lost a fumble and was sacked 7 times

If not for the interception, it wouldn't have been a "bad" game. But it would not have been good either. Rather just okay.

At least he saw McBride in the endzone but made a poor throw. I can live with that. Got a little unlucky on the Wilson TD called back, and also with the close call on the goal line throw to MHJ.

Under constant duress, Murray made a lot of nice throws yesterday (with the game still in doubt). Still, his rushing ability was a non-factor (either by scheme or by his choice) which is unacceptable.

Take out the pick six and I might give him a C+. But as it stands it was a solid "D" performance.

He'll be better at home vs. SEA though, I guarantee it! :)
I don’t know about that. Yes it’s a team game, but when the offense doesn’t work the lions share of responsibility falls on the QB’s shoulders. Even absent the pick six the offense only generated 6pts. That’s putrid.

F- ? You're a hard man Stout! :) Such inflammatory adjectives too (e.g. "clueless")!

But it's hard to conclude/imagine K1 did not get rattled some yesterday, which is anathema for an NFL QB.
I wrote in the pregame thread about this being an important data point for Kyler and the offense. They did not pass this test unfortunately.

Still, not the end of world. Not willing to concede the division to SEA.

Big big game in two weeks though Chief. If we let the hags sweep us, it will cast doubt on if the team will achieve some of the goals/objectives it set up at the beginning of the year.
When you score as many points for the opposition as you do for your own team, yeah it’s an F-. Kinda tough to do worse than that.

It seems as though the second meeting was more important than the first. It was like we wanted to see what they would do and we’ll be able to have a solid plan at our house.

If given only a choice of one win i take the second game hands down. On the other hand is this a good strategy, nope so its likely we just got beat.
