Absolutely agree until you mentioned Brady lol, but then again I'm sure you realize it's not a good example since he wasn't released for underperformance . However, if Belichick did, at some point, release him I would agree with you. There is no way Belichick, or any team, releases a player of that caliber unless they are quite sure they've wrung as much Pro Bowl performance out of him as they can.

Well, I was projecting forward to the point where Brady might be released. If he was on the street today I'd expect us to be first in line to try and bring him here.
