The new Wizards big man reportedly had interest in joining the defending back-to-back champs this offseason, but he opted to sign with Washington despite getting a call from the Warriors. Earlier this week, Howard shed more light on why he decided against signing with the Warriors. "I just think Golden State, they've won a couple championships in the past couple of years," Howard said via NBC Sports Washington. "So, me going there and winning it's like 'well, you went to a team that's already won.' In D.C., I think the last time the Wizards won they were the Bullets if I'm not mistaken.
