More proof of Peters overrattedness.

Lets compare him to Gandy, guy no one will call worthy of a 1,4, and 2010 pick.

Gandy gave up 1 sack for every 97 passing attempts in 2008.
Peters gave up 1 sack for every 42 passing attempts in 2008 and even in 2007 he wasnt that great with 1 sack for every 67 passing attempts.

Gandy blew the guy out of the water in pass protection and it wasnt even close.

I wont even go into penalties becuase Peters is a penalty machine as well with 7 penalties per season the last two years.

Now this guy who stinks in pass pro is going to a team that averages 600 passing attempts a season and he gets to face Tuck and the Giants DL twice a year and even worse he gets to face Dallas and Ware twice a year. McNabb is going to feel very bad about this move after each of those games.

Mcnabb will only have to endure it for one year unless Im mistaken? After the season I read an article it was either ESPN or Sportsline that stated that the Eagles approached Mcnabb about an extension. He told them no way not until I see what kind of weapons you bring me this off season.

Well from the looks of it they didnt bring him much of anything.

1. Philly got fleeced for the most overrated OT in the NFL. Rumor is its a 1,3 and a 2010 pick that can be as high as a 3rd if he goes to the pro bowl.

2. Philly is without a doubt not in the running for Boldin. For many reasons. Ried loves his draft picks and will not leave this draft with no 1st rounders left for him to use. They will not be working on getting a deal done with two high priced players at once in Peters and Boldin.

The Eagles are in need of tackles (along with other things). Still, if your first point is true, then poo on them. Bad move. I called my brother today and he wasn't even pleased with Philly giving up the 28th (mostly because it takes them out of the Boldin sweepstakes).

After this move, I bet that Eagles take RB with first pick.

Gotta agree, and that makes me not happy.
