Didn't have the courage of my convictions to put a sizable wager against the Pats. I love cheering for an undervalued team. Keep taking the points and laughing all the way to the bank. Philly is very much a pubilc team, so the only thing keeping this line from 6 or 7 points is the wiseguys setting limit bets. Will be interesting to see where it moves from here.

Good bookies already know, that's what I was saying too, the fact it's not higher means someone already knows, they always know.

It doesn't matter what THEY believe. It only matters what the Cardinals PLAYERS believe, and they aren't buying any of that stuff coming out of the 'talking heads' OR from Vegas.

I'm not one of those "we get no respect" guys, but according to my Yahoo Pick'em League, the Cards are opening as 4.5 point dogs at home against Philly.

WTF? I get that we don't get any respect, but maybe Vegas is just killing it with money coming in against the Cards, and are trying to sucker dumb money.

Betters end up setting the odds and we have a long long history of no respect. I say we will have to win 5-7 in a row to start getting betters to realize this is not the old Cards. I need to see this myself so I know we are not the old Cards.

It's only been 2 games so.... who the hell knows... But, we're currently ranked 30th in total offense. The Iggles are ranked numero uno...

I think I'm pretty close to being right when I say we have ZERO offense...

Of course there is that often quoted statement of "defense wins championships". That old Bear team with its defense under Buddy Ryan sort of won it all for the Bears even with a marginal half crazed QB.
