CBS sportsline,Drafttek,Todd McShay,Mel Kiper,Sports Exchange,FF Toolbox,GreatblueNorth,Draftdaddy,Nfl Draft Blitz, and Ourlads all have Taylor Lewan as Round 1 pick. Some as high as top 10,many in 15-25 range.
Ourlads says he is a good LT but might be better at RT.Yahoo`s expert says he can play either spot.

Man, you are a dog with a bone.

Want to cut Docket so I will respectfully take your opinion with more than a grain of salt.

To each his own.I still think Dockett is overrated and grossly overpaid. But since I disagree with that esteemed talent guru CBus I guess that makes me wrong......................not.

So, I will tip the cap here. I have found what you have found, and that is Lewan is being considered a top 20 player at this point almost across the board. While he has been moved from the #2 OT to the #5 OT behind Matthews, Kujo, Robinson and Erving, it has only moved him out of the first round on one site and that would be Matt Miller who is the lead writer at Bleacher Report. While some writers are suspect at BR, Miller is pretty legit and was one of the folks who pushed them to contract Matt Bowen who brings more credibility to their site which they are trying to improve.

thanks for the correction.

Bleacher Report as a whole is a joke but Matt Miller is a really good draft analyst. I value his opinion over most.

Cards
RD 1. Cameron Erving LT Florida State 6`5 310
RD2. Jackson Jeffcoat OLB Texas 6`4 245
RD 3. C.J. Fiedorowicz TE Iowa 6`6 265
RD 4. Jimmy Garoppolo QB Eastern Illinois 6`2 222
RD 5. Robert Herron WR Wyoming 5`10 187

Input guys? Jetstream Green what about Jeffcoat? I know he missed 2012 due to injury..........?

I dig the first 2 picks but a CB or RB should be taken amongst the five 5 picks in lieu of an unknown QB & WR.

I have been a huge opponent of taking a QB in Round 1 but if Blake Bortles comes in a package with this hottie

Then I reconsider.

I would really like the team to stay clear of Mettenberger...seen him a lot down here in red stick and I believe he is already close to his ceiling....if we want an injured 2nd round QB Murray is a better choice...does not have the prototypical size or the arm strength Mett has, but reads defenses better and makes better decisions...also has a better touch on the ball....Murray's only real weakness is his deep ball.....and arm strength can be built up.

as far as LT goes....rankings be damned.....give me a raw prospect with a metric **** ton of physical ability....why??....because after just this season of watching what this staff can do,...I have faith they will turn THAT kid into a legit pro bowl LT........find a kid from nowhere state with feet like a boxer, arms like a gorilla, stove pipe legs, who majors in bio-physics......

TE....V.Davis/J.Graham....where is ours??Find him...get him. wanting 6'6"... 4.3.....245ish.......~*Pipe Dream*~?

Top 5 draft positions easily can draft a QB. Actually, 7 of the 1st 8 are teams who are QB hungry.

Just read this and if it happen, that is one less team drafting a QB.

With momentum building for Josh McDaniels to become the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns, plenty of quarterbacks have been mentioned as possible targets for the team.

No, not Jay Cutler.

While the Tebowmaniacs are quick to point out that it was McDaniels (not McDonald’s) who drafted the former Florida quarterback and current ESPN employee in round one nearly four years ago, a more likely target would be Patriots backup Ryan Mallett, who has one year left on his rookie deal.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-could-finally-get-the-quarterback-he-wanted/

As for the rest

Houston - Needs a QB
St. Louis - I think if Houston lets Bridgewater, they take him, otherwise they give Bradford one more year.
Jacksonville - Needs a QB
Cleveland - Needs a QB, but could go Mallett
Oakland - Who knows what they will do, but they OL is really, really, really, really bad
Atlanta - Does not need a QB
Tampa Bay - Lots of needs and Lovie has proven he can win with averge QB play
Minnesota - They will screw it up and not go QB, but they need a QB

Some whisper he has some Richie Incognito in him because of personel

foul penalties. He has been compared to Jared Veldheer a few times as

a player. He did well against Clowney which raised his stock in that game

Problem #1 is that they have the Cards picking at the 26th slot. So are they clueless to the draft order????

Problem #2 is that I don't want a QB in the 4th rd. Either we go for the gusto or ride with Stanton and Lindley. Throwing away 4th rd picks on QB's is simply silly.

How about that QB named Brady who went in around the 6th round. Frankly I had never he heard about Wilson and Keppernick.

I am 50/50 on drafting a QB this year, and if the right one falls, I expect Keim to pull the trigger. So if Bortles drops to 20, take him. That being said, I think these guys will be drafted early and often, taking us out of the running for one of the better ones. Also, rookies don't need to sit and learn anymore. Unless the perfect match falls to us I would rather build the best roster possible so we can plug one in when Palmer is done and he can succeed right away.

I do not even know how good or bad our current backups are?

Yep

Jeffcoat loafs on running plays & takes to many plays off IMO. I think the bigger players in the NFL are going to give Jackson some problems.

I would be happy with either Missouri pass rusher in Ealy or Sam, though Ealy will probably go earlier. I think i prefer choose Van Noy over Sam.

Plus Jeffcoat has already been injured twice in college. Cant remember

what the exact injury was

Erving is back in school, so Id replace the 1st round pick with Kyle Van Noy, Darqueze Dennard, Justin Gilbert, or just good ol BPA.

2nd round I want Bucannon out of Washington. Hes our Adub. S is a HUGE need and hes a huge talent.

3rd round Yes

4 no to Garops. If you think hes a franchise QB, why not take him round 1 or 2? Why gamble he fall to you in the 4th? Because hes not a franchise QB. You are wasting a pick on a backup QB. Speed WRs are good choices in the 4th
