Great write up Ed. I see the draft nearly the same as you do, especially the top five players regardless of position offensively.

Good stuff.

Here is my top 5 offensive players:

1. D'Brickshaw Ferguson - OT - UVA
2. Reggie Bush - RB - USC
3. Vernon Davis - TE - Maryland
4. Matt Leinart QB - USC
5. LenDale White - RB - USC

I would love to land anyone of them.

Great stuff. You jit the nail on the head in your analysis of Leinart and d Williams. I'm not a Sun Devil but I take issue with your statements regarding Hagen. Senior Bowl aside, I thought he showed pretty good hands.

Good effort and solid analysis. I'm loking forward to more from you.

Thanks for the analysis Ed. If we come out of the draft with White then Lutui or Gilles or Mangold we'll be set. Then one of the OT's in the 3rd it'll be a very good 1st day - well on our way.

You left out O'Callaghan from CAL - whats your take on him, I've read he's a legit 2nd rounder. And Cal's running game hasn't been anything to sneeze at while he's been there.

Have no problem with the Cream of the Crop.

I beg to differ with the QB analysis. Omar Jacobs and Cutler aren't in the same breath. If we take Cutler early it might be a steal. If we take Jacobs early you're looking at a bust. Whitehearst is just as good as Jacobs and may be a great late round pick.

Gary Jones, aka Snakester, did a thorough article on the OT's. Check it out here: http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/storypage.php?Story_ID=631&Category=cardinals
