Edge 100 yards!!!!

I thought it was a good idea to bench James and see what Hightower could do because James wasn't doing very much. However, I thought it would have been a good idea to go back to him about three weeks earlier because Hightower clearly doesn't have it.

I've got more hope for the playoffs with James back in there.

Edge was our featured back for the first 5 games of the season, then against Dallas he started splitting the carries between Edge and Hightower. Hightower got the nod to start against St. Louis and had a great game. Shortly thereafter, James asked to be traded. We do not know exactly what came down or was said, but that seemed to be the point that Edge was virtually put out to rest.

For what ever reason, Edge was given the chance against the Seahawks and preformed well. I am sure Whiz felt that James would not be back next year and gave the future back the reigns.

All I know is that we will have to have some running game to have any success in the playoffs. But just because we ran against the Seahawks does not mean we will be able to run against anyone else, but Edge does give us the best shot at it and am sure he will be the featured back going into the playoffs.

How much better did Warner look yesterday after we were able to run it? Watch the replay.

He took some pretty good pops today, which might take the edge off his appetite (so to speak).

But, yeah, his legs looked fresh today.

Just got home from the game, but most of you know where I stand on the issue. It was about 7-8 weeks too late imo, Whiz made a huge mistake and who knows how many games it cost this team. What's best for the team should be what coaches do, sadly it took Whiz way to long to admit his mistake.
