It seems a case of "cutting off one's nose to spite one's face" to me. I hope that I am wrong about that but it sure does seem Whiz is being vindictive to the 'nth degree here. Edge should still be getting at least 10 to 12 touches a game IMO.

At this point, Edge should be starting and getting almost all of the carries again. Hightower had that big game against the Rams and that was about it. As a previous poster said, yesterday was the perfect game and conditions to unleash Edge and he got 4 measly carries.

Whiz has done a pretty good job with this team, but if he treats players vindictively like he has with Edge he will lose it real quick. I hope he hasn't already lost them.

Agree! It's hard to believe his 'best players play mantra' when James is rotting on the bench and Hightower is dropping passes and fumbling his way along. When a solid NFL analyst like Daryl Johnston is questioning why James isn't playing more you really have to wonder what Whisenhunt is thinking. I love Whis and what he's brought to Arizona but he really needs to change course in this situation IMO.

Wiz is obviously holding a grudge.

It was apparent to me yesterday Edge was the only one who knew how to play in those conditions and he should have gotten the ball to him early and often. Edge might have been able to lead us to some sort of positive momentum.

But I think he realized it after it was too late in the game yesterday. Hopefully he sees what we all do and starts getting james more carries.

What I'd like to see is the team leaders, e.g., Kurt, Q, Adrian go to Whis and get this situation cleared up. If Edge needs to apologize sobeit. But someone needs to take the bull by the horns and get this situation resolved. Reggie Wells, Kurt Warner, and A-dub are the captains. This is one place where they can do what captains should do IMO.

I'd also like to see the 'team leaders' call a players-only meeting and crack some heads to try and get this situation turned around. It's now or never guys. Let's get serious.

Dammit Edge you missed a practice I am going to bench you for 8 or 9 weeks! Give me a break Whiz needs to get over himself this is a team and I gaurantee you the players want Edge playing and playing alot more, Whiz is hurting this team right now with dumb decisions! Playing Kurt until 44-0 in the blizzard was a ******** decision as well. If your going to lose that bad at least try to protect your players for your last 2 games of the season.

it seems like i agree with everything you post.

This isn't the first time Whiz has done this. Remember he cut Scott Player to make an example to the team about how serious he was a coach. He then put in his old punter from Pittsburgh. He compounded that error by making him Rackers holder.

It took him half a season to admit he made a mistake there and our special teams went in the toilet.

I think Dockett should be the RB with Breaston as a change of pace.

Did you see that NE put in an OL as a blocking FB to open holes in the snow? That was great gameplanning. And worked. They ran like the dickens on us.
